Welcome!
Hello friends and advocates!
Welcome to the blog for Justice Choir GR. My name is Liz, and I have helped create this website and contribute to the promotion of this group on various social media websites.
A bit about myself:
I'm a graduate of Biology and Philosophy from Grand Valley State University. I was also previously a master's candidate at GVSU in the area of Clinical Research Trials Management and Biotechnology. Since graduating from GVSU, I have been actively involved in music ministry at various churches in West Michigan as a soloist, small women's group leader, and choir soprano. Prior to graduating, I was also active in the music program at GVSU and an active volunteer tutor in the community in a variety of subjects.
Currently, I am singing in the alto section with the Justice Choir. I am also active in the music ministry at Park Church singing in the soprano section, playing flute in the wind ensemble, and serving as a permanent substitute/floater in the hand bell choir. I am also starting to take piano lessons!
Outside of my music gigs, I have been working in the pharmaceutical industry for almost 6 years as a Quality Control or R&D Chemist, leading various projects.
I hope to make use of my experiences, resources, knowledge, and skills in the growth of the Justice Choir. Stay tuned!
