New Justice Choir GR Season Begins Soon!

Welcome back, Justice Choir GR singers! As most of you know, our beloved Clarie has departed for some exciting new life opportunities in Chicago—but not before making sure we were taken care of with a wonderful new steering committee! I was tapped to lead you through the music making process and conduct you as your new Music Director. I am so honored to be assuming this role as we continue to make amazing music and sing for justice! I was so grateful to make music with you and fellowship with you last spring. I know this group is destined to be an amazing voice for justice in our community. We are getting ready to launch our second season. Here are some important things you need to know:
Our open rehearsals will be on September 10 and 17, 2018. All voices are welcome—always!—with no auditions and no cost. Invite your friends, folks! We've got a great buzz going around town, and I'd love to beef up our chorus with more amazing and diverse people! Anyone can stop by these rehearsals and try us out, free of commitment, to see if they feel comfortable singing with us.
Our first concert of the 2018-2019 season, “Sing Out for Mental Health,” will be on Sunday, November 11th, at 4:00pm. Put it on your calendars!
Just like last season, weekly rehearsals will take place on Monday evenings from 6:30-8:00 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church: 1100 Lake Dr SE, 49506.
We're still looking for more leadership help. Check out the website's Get Involved page, and really think about getting involved!
If you haven't already, follow Justice Choir GR on Facebook to stay in the loop for concert announcements and mobile advocacy opportunities throughout the year! You can also learn more about our mission, vision, values, structure, and leadership here on our website. Please email justicechoirgr@gmail.com with questions and concerns. We are so pumped to be back at it again soon, and I can't wait to make beautiful music with all of you! Musically, Tara Cleveland
